Alois is an engineering and sustainability specialist, supporting organizations in the field of air quality, liquid and solid waste management as well as product development and training.
Alois is a mechanical and environmental engineer by training and specializes in vocational training, industrial research and development as well as environmental engineering. He is a founding member of seecon and several other for profit and not-for-profit organizations.
After 5 years in Lesotho and Bangladesh, where he supported the setting up of vocational training centers, he became head of the R&D department of a midsize Swiss company. Between 1988 and 2000 Alois was head of the air quality department of the environmental protection agency Lucerne. From 2000 onwards, he provided consultancies to commercial companies and NGO’s. Product development / design, evaluations of Bachelor / Master theses as well as evaluations of development projects are part of his portfolio.
