Celia is coordinating the Sustainable Sanitation and Water Management (SSWM) Toolbox supporting practitioners during the planning and implementation of initiatives in water, sanitation and agriculture.
Celia is an anthropologist with a passion for participatory processes and impact oriented project planning. She is working with seecon since 2018, coordinating the Sustainable Sanitation and Water Management (SSWM) Toolbox and working on projects on water integrity management and certification.
She has worked in development cooperation projects in several African and Latin American countries focusing on urban agriculture, natural resource management, sustainable tourism and child protection. Celia has long-term experience as a trainer and facilitator of multi-stakeholder processes where she enjoys seeing people achieving common goals. Besides working for seecon, she is a freelance consultant supporting political processes in municipal climate action and climate mainstreaming throughout Germany.
Celia holds a postgraduate degree in International Cooperation for Sustainable Development from the Humboldt University, Berlin, a MA degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Leipzig and a BA degree in Tourism Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. She speaks German, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
