Hi! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Matheus, I’m project manager for our startup and acceleration programs addressing plastic waste management in our communities in Rio de Janeiro. I operate at the intersection of product design, communication and project management, working with local entrepreneurs to turn our plastic problem into opportunities that generate value and positive impact in our city.

My first contact with Seecon happened during one of the initial bootcamps in Brazil for the Zero Plastic Entrepreneurship program. Through a friend who works with one of our key partners, I was invited to attend and watch a session in the Maré community. That visit quickly turned into coaching and supporting the participants.

I immediately felt a strong connection with the work, the mission, the social impact, the innovation, and the empowering of communities across Latin America. From that point on, I got to visit the other regions, meet other participants involved in the program and eventually took on the role of Project Manager for the activities in Brazil, while also contributing with our Latin team in our other initiatives across South America.

I enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds, learning their stories, and supporting their paths to create meaningful change. Working with a multicultural team toward a more sustainable future is also something I truly value. I also appreciate the constant challenges.It pushes me to grow through communication, problem-solving, and innovation.
