The Kronberg (1,663 m above sea level) in the Appenzellerland region in Switzerland is the ideal place to enjoy a wonderful mountain experience at any time of year. A peak restaurant with excellent gastronomy, a variety of hiking trails and the longest toboggan run in Eastern Switzerland are waiting for you on the mountain. In the valley, in addition to the restaurant, there is a zipline park, a fairytale world as well as a fast bobsleigh run for kids to enjoy.
We want the integrated tourism company to proactively plan its future and evolve. It is an honor and a pleasure for us to support Kronberg AG in its efforts, considering the following questions:
- What needs and expectations will tomorrow’s guests come with?
- What services will we offer to meet and exceed them?
- What investments will this trigger and in what order?
- How can this be financed?
- What influence does the climate have on us on the mountain and on our guests at home?
- Is our development compatible with the projects and strategies of our most important stakeholders?
Together with Mounteco gmbh and gutundgut gmbh, seecon supported Kronberg AG from the analysis of the current situation, through the development of the portfolio of services and implementation scenario, to the overall Kronberg 2040 study. In particular, we carry out the following activities:
Explore and discover
- We put Kronberg AG’s existing portfolio under the microscope and consolidated it. As part of the overall Kronberg 2040 study, we were able to contribute our expertise by developing a climate scenario and a business model.
Co-create and design
- The development of the implementation scenario of course also entailed an analysis of Kronberg AG’s current strategy and the consideration of financing aspects.
