Stakeholder Market Study for the Sustainable Sanitation Alliance
The Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA) is an informal network of organisations that share a common vision on sustainable sanitation. SuSanA works as a coordinating and working platform, sounding board and contributor to the policy dialogue on sustainable sanitation, as well as a “catalyst”. Under a grant of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Stockholm Environmental Institute contracted seecon, in cooperation with cawst, to develop a Stakeholder Market Study consisting of a baseline market assessment, the development of a communications strategy for SuSanA, and a framework for measuring the impact of SuSanA in facilitating knowledge sharing and cooperation in the sector.
As part of the assignment seecon conducted a global survey with more than 3,000 responses from WASH practitioners, mapped existing knowledge platforms within and adjacent to the water and sanitation sector and facilitated the development of a communication strategy for the SuSanA network.
